Order Confirmation:

The heart of our business is customised Pet Id Tags and engraved items which are are personalised just for you. If there is problem with your engraving on your Pet Id Tag(s) or personalised item(s) please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it so that we can discuss with you how we put it right for you.
All personalised items are non-returnable unless they are faulty or damaged because they have been made or customised especially for you.
We may ask you to email us us a picture of any damage or of the engraving on your pet id tag to help us in assisting you.

If you’re items are not personalised and if you are not completely satisfied with the product(s) you’ve bought then simply return it to us in an unused condition with all labels and packaging at any time within 14 working days of receipt. Please ensure that you include your name and order details with the return to enable us to identify your order promptly. It would be helpful if you would let us know why you are returning it, for example incorrect size or colour not as expected etc this helps us to refine our products to ensure that we are meeting our customer need and expectations.
Should you return an item because of an error on our part or if it’s defective, then we’ll refund the full value of the item and your costs in returning it to us.

GDPR PROCEDURES
As from 25 May 2018 any changes in data recorded for customers, employees and suppliers in the EU must be recorded and those records retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any data held prior to 25 May 2018 has been recorded properly and held securely as can be seen by the Data Audit carried out.
Additional Customer Details.
As from 25 May 2018 if there is a new customer they must agree positively to our Privacy Policy before registering any of their data. This positive agreement must retained and filed so it can be referred to at any time.
Customer Requests
If a customer asks for the data we hold about them this must be given to them within 24 hours and a record kept that the information has been passed and what information was given. If a customer asks for their information to be deleted this must be confirmed in writing within 24 hours and a record kept of this. (When customer records are requested to be deleted and this customer has previously had transactions with us the accounting records must be retained for legal reasons and this information must be passed on to the customer) The customer records in the website and newsletter software must be deleted.
Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy must be updated at least on an annual basis. If matters arise prior to a review the Privacy Policy can be amended. If there any changes required these must also be made to the Privacy Policy on the website.
Breach of Data
If there is a breach of the data held by Bell Gift Group, this must be first assessed as to whether it is a serious breach or not. If it is not a serious breach then actions must be taken to stop this breach in the future.
If the breach is a serious breach then the ICO must be told within 72 hours and any individual also informed within 72 hours. An action plan must then be made to minimise any breaches in the future

We process orders quickly because our customers appreciate our quick dispatch and delivery times that you’d expect from a company with “express” in the name. We can process orders as early as 6am (U.K times) up to late into the evening. We also process some orders on weekends. If your order has already been processed and the tag engraved then regrettably we cannot cancel your order but may be able to refund any shipping costs if it hasn’t been collected by the delivery company.

99% of our pet tags are customised specifically to a customers request. We do not accept the return of personalised items unless they are faulty. If you tag is not personalised then please return it to us in an unused condition with the original packaging within 14 days and upon receipt we will refund you. If there is a problem with your tag then please let us know as soon as possible.
We do our best to ensure that your tag is delivered as you expect with the correct details as per your order confirmation engraved on it. On rare occasions mistakes happen, we hate it when they do, but are always quick to put it right for you. If we have made a mistake on your tag, or your order is not as expected then please let us know as soon as possible please do this by email to info@bellgiftgroup.com and include a photograph of the error along with your order number and we’ll gladly replace it free of charge at the next available opportunity

What guarantee do you offer on your tags?

We will engrave whatever you request on your pet id tag, but if you'd like to learn more about the law then this guide should answer all of your questions.
We are forever surprised by the number of dogs that we see when we are out and about that are without a collar, an identity tag or both! Working within the Pet industry for so many years we have come to learn that many people simply aren’t aware of the U.K Control of Dogs Order 1992.
You could be fined up to £5000 if you fail to comply with the law. To avoid this make sure that you follow these simple steps below.
All dogs (with the exception of some working dogs) are required to wear a collar and dog identification tag or other form of clear identification when in a public place.
Your dog must wear at pet tag even if they are microchipped. Microchipping your dog is also legally required and must be done along with their registration by the time they are 8 weeks old.
The minimum requirement to be compliant with the law is:
· The name and address of the owner should be inscribed or written on the collar
· Or the name and address of the owner inscribed on a plate, badge or tag attached to the collar
Because some addresses can take up a lot of space on small pet tags it is helpful to know that a House Number or Name and a Postcode are sufficient to identify and UK address.
Whilst not legally required, we would strongly advise also adding a contact telephone number to your pet tag. Many Council Dog Wardens recommend this to speed up the return of lost dogs.
Many of our customers do choose to have a telephone number, either home or for a mobile phone also engraved onto their pet’s tags. It’s not uncommon to have both a mobile and a landline number or the number of a relative as a back-up.
Choosing to have your dog’s name on your pet id tag is a personal choice. We will engrave whatever you request on your pet tag and many of our customers choose to have their dog’s name on the tag while others prefer not to in case their dog is stolen. It is a personal choice that you should consider from the perspective of your own circumstances. The Kennel Club recommends not including the dog's name on the tag but again it is your choice.
There are some exceptions that apply to certain dogs who are exempt from having to wear a collar with ID Tag, they are:
• Any dog registered with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
• Any dog while being used in emergency rescue work.
• Any dog while being used on official duties by a member of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, HM Customs and Excise or the police.
• Any dog while being used for driving or tending cattle or sheep.
• Any dog while being used for the capture or destruction of vermin.
• Any dog while being used for sporting purposes.
• Any pack of hounds.
It is advisable to check how these exceptions may apply to you by contacting the Dog Warden at your local council who will advise you fully on the exceptions in you case.

We have every imaginable colour, shape and design. We also have an extensive range of sizes in our pet tag range, from tiny tags ideal for cats, puppies or small dog breeds right up to extra large Dog Id Tags for even the largest and most robust of breeds.

At Pet Id Tags Express we use a variety of machines to custom engrave our tags. Mostly we use the latest technology machines to diamond engrave your inscriptions. This allows us to achieve a deeper-engraving. On occasions a laser engraver is used but our experience has taught us that the diamond engraving option is more durable and longer-lasting.
Some of the tags are deep engraved, yes. Some of the fashion pet identity tags have a lighter engraving due to the material which will not take deep-engraved inscriptions. We engrave all of our tags as deep as possible and to achieve the most durable finish. How long the engraving will last can depend on the tag, the use and the environment it is exposed to. That depends on which pet tag you choose. Some can be engraved on one side, some on both and the number of characters and lines depends on the tag size and it's design features.
We provide a character limit and line limit for each of our tags. This is our advised maximum limit. Remember pet tags are relatively small items and the more characters and the more lines that you use, the smaller the text will appear on the actual tag.
We automatically adjust the position and the size of each inscription on each tag to achieve the best result if you would like your text to appear legible and clear we recommend that you use only essential information.
Many customers have two tags which allows for more of the fun information or additional non-essential information to be inscribed on the 2nd pet tag. Keep engraved text as short as possible, or the font size will decrease

Here’s some handy tips to consider when choosing a tag for your pets, based on our experience and the feedback of our many happy customers.
Pet tags come in a range of sizes and are made from different materials. You should match the size of the tag to your dog . Ideally a dog tag should not get in the way or obstruct your dog's free movement or impede agility. Your dog should not be able to reach its tag nor chew on it. We all know that dogs love to chew!
Some tags may be too heavy for smaller pets whilst for larger dogs and working dogs you are advised to consider a more robust tag.
For harsh environments including frequent exposure to mud and wet conditions outside of normal domestic walkies we would recommend a stainless steel tag.
If your pet swims in rivers, lakes or the sea, again we would recommend a stainless steel tag as it is more durable and is more likely withstand the elements in the water.
If your pet lives outdoors a solid brass or stainless steel pet id tag would be a good choice
If your pet has some exposure to the elements but not prolonged then our standard tags will be more than adequate for your needs
If you have more than one pet and they have a tendency to chew it is not unusual for dogs to chew each other's tags. Chewing will affect the longevity and durability of any pet tag.
For domestic pets any choice from our range will be suitable.
Some pets wear a tag at all times whilst others just when outside of the home. This can alter the demands of the tag to endure and its wear.
For light use and relatively sedentary then any choice from our extensive range of Pet tags will meet your needs.
If you are particularly active engaging in outdoor sports, pursuits, water activities particularly in harsh and demanding environments then a stainless steel or solid brass pet tag is strongly recommended to withstand every thing that will thrown at it.
The more information that you wish to have engraved onto your pet id tag the larger the tag recommended for it to be legible and clear. A double-sided tag is a good choice if you have a lot of details to communicate.
Our anodised aluminium pet tags offer a rainbow of colours, shapes and sizes. They are the lightest tags in our range but have good durability. So if it's a light weight tag that you're after then we would recommend that you consider an aluminium pet tag for your dog or cat.

The primary purpose of an engraved tag for your pet is to allow anyone who finds your pet should they stray or be separated from you to be able to easily contact you so that you can be reunited as quickly as possible
So, you should definitely put your telephone number as a minimum and your address.
Some addresses can be really long, but in the U.K the House number or name plus the postcode are all that are required to identify any address.
In the U.K yes there are. The Control of Dogs Order 1992 makes it an offence for a dog to be in a public place without a collar inscribed with the owner’s name and address or a collar with a tag with the owners name and address. The fine for breaching this law could be up to £5000.
Most dog wardens and the Kennel Club advise that a contact telephone number is also added to the tag or collar.

It is a popular choice by many of our customers and can be a useful way of alerting anyone who may find your pet to their chip which can in turn identify you. However it is not a legal requirement to put it on their tag. Stray dogs collected by local authorities and those found and taken to vets are normally scanned to read microchips as a routine. It’s the law in the U.K that all dogs over 8 weeks old are microchipped and registered. Therefore you are advised to ensure that the registration details connected with your pet’s chip are up-to-date particularly if you’ve moved or they’ve changed.
If your pet has any medical conditions, has an illness, pet allergies, takes medication or requires any special care then it's strongly recommended that you put this information on their pet tag. It's important that should your pet stray or be lost that anyone who finds them is aware of any special care or attention that they may need before they can be safely retunred to you.
